From the beginning, the staff at CornerStone have been great listeners and consummate "can-do" guys. What started out to be the removal of a couple walls on the third floor and update to the galley kitchen installed in the 1950's, turned into what I can only describe as a complete transformation. The renovation and restoration of 104 West Street was a project that grew in complexity and intensity far beyond anything we envisioned when we purchased the property. "CornerStone was great to work with. They were willing to accommodate everything we wanted to do on our project (expanding the ½ bath), but most impressively they were the exact opposite of what most contracting situations end up being. We could reach them whenever we wanted, they were very responsive, on-time and honest. There was one sub-contractor (plumber) who did not meet CornerStone's high standards, and those demanded by the project, so they were able to bring in a different one on very short notice, who did a great job. Despite our home being built 135 years ago, the project ended up not hitting the anticipated bumps in the road. So when all was said and done, the project came in under the estimated amount, which was another very nice surprise."
